Dr. Benita Martin, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC is a Double Board Certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in multiple states across the United States. She completed her education at Simmons University and Vanderbilt University. Dr. Martin was a chemist prior to going into healthcare and now focuses on leveraging technology with healthcare to better serve those in her community.
She is an educator, and loves spending time with her family, creating art, outdoor activities, watching soccer, and traveling.
Dr. Martin specializes in psychiatric evaluations and medication management. As a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, Dr. Martin is uniquely qualified to provide psychiatric, primary care, and urgent care services. She specializes in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders for pregnant mothers as well as prescribing medications, conducting evaluations, creating a care plan, and referrals for specialized treatments.
